  • bug 1480852 continues to be very visible in Android nightlies
  • bug 1474028 is making it difficult to diagnose crash signatures. It was backed out but the fallout happened in the builds over the weekend.
  • 166 crashes in class nsCOMPtr<T> mozilla::dom::ServiceWorkerRegistrar::GetShutdownPhase | void mozilla::dom::ServiceWorkerRegistrar::ProfileStarted, but from a single installation
  • Crashes from bug 1464938 are still visible in nightly crashes

  • Filed bug 1482805 - Crash in java.lang.NullPointerException: Attempt to invoke virtual method 'boolean java.lang.String.equals(java.lang.Object)' on a null object reference at org.mozilla.gecko.notifications.NotificationHelper.showNotification(NotificationHelper.java)
  • Quite a few single-installation crashes
  • Some non-actionable crashes because of the lack of symbols

  • For all builds (Windows, OS X, Linux, Android), there are no symbols for (lib)xul and (lib)mozglue in the builds starting 2018.08.10.220115, nor for later builds. The builds at 2018.08.10.100128 are OK, though.
  • This seems ungood, but am unsure who to report this to. I emailed ted and glandium to enquire.
  • Apart from that, in the unaffected builds, the usual bunch of single-instance crashes, but nothing of note.
