Owner: Stephanie Wright Updated: 2020-04-2
In 2017 the organization brought together staff from other teams with experience in community building, open leadership, curriculum & training, and event management to form a new team. The new team was intended to take the core principles of MozFest and working open to build year round support for the internet health movement. The Open Leadership & Events Team (OLE) supported the overall objectives of Mozilla by investing in and connecting the leaders who shape how we think about, build, and protect the internet. The team name was changed in 2020 to the MozFest Team with the festival becoming the platform of focus for their open leadership work. If you’re interested in Mozilla’s continuing efforts around open leadership, please visit the Mozilla Festival website at mozillafestival.org.
