Overview
To give MozCamp attendees a chance to get hands-on with Web Apps and Firefox OS, we are hosting an open hacking lounge in the main area that people can visit throughout the event. The lounge will be divided into two sides, one for hacking on Firefox OS, the other for hacking on Web Apps.
We'll have devices, handouts, and people on hand to help you get started!
The lounge location will be added soon.
Firefox OS
You can easily contribute to the first release of Firefox OS. We'll show you how you can help with development, testing or localization.
Developers
- Read the basics for how to hack on Firefox OS
- Work on a mentored bug or an unowned Gaia polish bugs on Bugzilla
Testers
- To be added
Localizers
- To be added
Apps
Have you heard about open web apps and want to learn more? The Apps Hacking Lounge will be an interactive area where you can get started creating apps, test them on tablets and phones, see demos (or sign up to do one), and ask questions.
Everyone who makes an app will get a prize!
HINT: If you see a special Apps sticker on someone's name badge, feel free to flag that person down with any questions about Apps!
