| In 2017 the organization brought together staff from other teams with experience in community building, open leadership, curriculum & training, and event management to form a new team. The new team was intended to take the core principles of MozFest and working open to build year round support for the internet health movement. The Open Leadership & Events Team supported the overall objectives of Mozilla by investing in and connecting the leaders who shape how we think about, build, and protect the internet.
